Born in Florida, my first pets were goldfish and a parakeet named Marty.

My parents have always been very supportive and an instrumental part of my passion of animals. Because of them I have always had some type of animal in my life from dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, fish, birds, and exotics.

I currently reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan and own a highly successful pet grooming business for over 10 years.

In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, traveling the world, shopping, and volunteering at a local wild animal park (which can include preparing balanced diets, making enrichment, cleaning enclosures, or educating the public).

I own a 32 year old Goffin’s Cockatoo named Bubba and a 7 year old African Cape Parrot named Newt.

I have bred several Button Quails and Diamond Doves in the past. I am currently breeding and focusing on Gouldian Finches and Blue Faced Parrot Finches.
