The fourth quarter NFSS board meeting began on online November 27, 2005 and concluded December 12, 2005. In attendance; Sally Huntington, Jim Heffernan, Randy Taylor, Patrick Vance, Alfred Mion, Darla Dandre, Mark Phelps, Armando Lee, Harry Bryant, Cathy Luttrell, Bill Parlee, Bob French, Ron Castner, Shelly Ortman , Raspberry, Martha Wigmore, and Brenda Josselet.

The 7 motions were presented and discussed. The motions and results;

Motion 2005-16 - DID NOT PASS

Permanent removal of a NFSS member from general membership as requested via mail Raspberry and Jim Heffernan. Discussion – the general consensus of those present was 'since member has quit NFSS any further action would be punitive, which does not represent NFSS philosophy'. 

Motion 2005-17 - DID NOT PASS

The 2006 BOD develop a Vision Statement entailing goals, objectives, deadlines and committees of NFSS. Motion made by Brenda Josselet second by Shelley Ortman.

Motion 2005-18 - PASSED

Develop methods increasing membership as per Vision Statement. Motion made by Shelley Ortman second by Patrick Vance. 

Motion 2005-19 - PASSED

Executive Secretary put together an information packet to be provided to new Board members which would include the current by-laws. Motion made by Brenda Josselet, second by Shelley Ortman.

Motion 2005-20 - PASSED

Create application and informational brochures professionally printed for distribution by officers and Regional VP's. Motion made by Brenda Josselet, no second was made.

Motion 2005-21 - PASSED

Move NFSS website to a new web host at a charge of $150/year. Motion made by Harry Bryant, second by Patrick Vance.

Motion 2005-22 - PASSED

Create a Parliamentary Position for NFSS Officers Yahoo Group. Motion made by Harry Bryant, second by Patrick Vance.

Treasurers Report; 2006 

Current projected budget is $2,158.73 loss for 2006. Adjustments suggested: omit the expenses for the regional VPs and cut expense of the Journal by $200 an issue ($1,200 total) would result in balanced budget.
